The soundtrack to every hopeless romantic’s indie love story just got a whole lot sweeter.

Alt-pop star Beabadoobee's has released a sunny new rendition of her instant classic, “Glue Song,” featuring a verse by indie-pop darling, Clairo. beabadoobee's light, lilting lullaby of a voice sets the dreamy tone, dancing through the musing first verse listeners have come to love. You can hear the pained smile in her words as she sings, “Don't forget to kiss me / Or else you'll have to miss me.”

Clairo waltzes in with a new verse, bringing with her a new warmth to the charming track. Her voice melts into the orchestral arrangement as if it were another cello soaring amongst the violins; it’s both a radiant and understated addition, like she’d been a part of “Glue Song” the whole time. In true Clairo fashion, her verse pulls at our heartstrings with just the slightest pang of an ache. “I always I knew I'd find you, to be here is worth the wait too...,” she coos.

When beabadoobee and Clairo’s voices intertwine in harmony, I can’t help but wish they would stay stuck together by glue. The balance of airy delicacy and resonance between the duo’s voices has an infectious glow; the perfect final touch to “Glue Song.” An indie-pop power pair, beabadoobee and Clairo, have created the ultimate starry-eyed love song in this dreamy collaboration.
