It wasn't too long ago that Washington DC native D'Anthony Carlos picked up a microphone and began making music. He took on the name "GoldLink" and has been making strides in the music world ever since. His signature sound is a distinctive and unique new style of hip hop that he defines as "Future Bounce." This sound is an intriguing mix of 90's hip-hop and R&B cuts, D.C's go-go heritage, and transcending circadian drops of EDM and Afro-Caribbean drum patterns. His lyrics tackle social and cultural issues that engage audiences and make him more relatable. GoldLink's 2014 project "The God Complex" put him on the map and grabbed the attention and support of major outlets, such as FADER and Complex, as well as legendary producer and Def Jam Recordings co-founder, Rick Rubin. His online popularity led to performances at SXSW and spots on tour with electronic-producer SBTRKT and Flume. After his first headlining tour in summer of 2015, GoldLink released his debut full-length album, "And After That, We Didn't Talk" in November 2015.
