Secret identities are nothing new in the music industry, but rising synth-pop artist, Elohim, takes anonymity to the next level. With a name that’s defined in Hebrew as “God,” the use of animal masks and a disguised voice, the singer-songwriter has remained incognito regardless of her newfound notoriety.

The Los Angeles-based artist has collaborated has received various remixes by artist peers like Gosh Pit and Whethan. In 2015, she released her playful electro-pop debut single, “She Talks Too Much,” a relatable modern-day party anthem. The single was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show on Apple Music and has garnered over one million streams on Spotify alone. Two months later, Elohim followed with the polar-opposite release of “Xanax,” a dreamy track for a long, cold journey home. The two debut cuts showcase the depth and range of the singer-songwriting skills.

In January 2016, Elohim released her single, “Bridge and The Wall,” followed by the emotive track, “Pigments.” She subsequently released an interactive video for “Pigments,” which directs viewers to www.icantmakeuloveu.com, a website that allows viewers to control Elohim’s heartbeat and pigments.

In May of 2016, Elohim released her self-titled debut EP. Elohim is a 10-track unique audio artistry. Since her debut, Elohim has toured with some of the hottest acts of 2016, including Louis The Child, Jai Wolf and Gryffin. Elohim will bring her show to wider audiences in 2017 with appearances at major music festivals such as Coachella (The Do Lab), Lightning in a Bottle, and Lollapalooza.
