TOUR DIARY: Colony House Takes Us On The “Play Dead Live” Tour With 13 Photos That Perfectly Depict Tour Life

There aren’t too many life experiences that compare to touring the world with your best friends–in fact, there’s nothing quite like it. A different city every day, a different venue every night, performing songs that you put your heart and soul into as hundreds of devoted fans cheer you on–what could compare? The tour life is not something that many of us are fortunate enough to experience, so we are eternally grateful that Colony House has shared an enticing peek into their mystical universe.

The Tennessee natives embarked on the Play Dead Live Tour with Mutemath and ROMES in mid-September, gracing fans all over the county with their indie rock prowess and high-energy live performance. The band described it best with a simple proposition,

Night after night, we do the same thing over and over again. We pick up our instruments, walk out onto a stage, and sing songs we wrote in our bedrooms for whoever will listen. We love what we do with a passion and we think music is important and has a unique power to communicate unlike anything else. So for now we are going to keep hopping in our van and rolling through every town possible to sing some songs and make the memories of a lifetime while we do it.
