Brunch, tacos, margaritas, Coachella. I’m not just listing the essential building blocks to human happiness or a killer Instagram feed, but rather just some of the things Mansionair got into during their most recent tour.
The indie electronic trio from Sydney, Australia, has had a phenomenal couple of years, including but not limited to, collaborating with Odesza on “Line of Sight” and touring with both Chvrches and London Grammar. This past Spring saw the Sydney-based band add another achievement to that ever-growing list: a US headline tour with fellow Ones To Watch favorites NoMBe and Mikky Ekko.
Mansionair gave us a behind-the-scenes look into everything they got into on this tour and in between, as well as a quick cameo from one of electronic music’s biggest bands (hint: it may just be someone they have collaborated with in the past). So, grab a taco and a margarita, and enjoy Mansionair’s Tour Diary – plus, stay tuned for our first ever NYC All Eyes On performance video with Mansionair coming soon!

This is our big beautiful tour bus. Which later broke down on us.
Touring isn’t the most glamorous thing. Here’s us loading all our gear directly onto the sidewalk.
Post-show food is the greatest thing about touring. Here’s some ramen in Cleveland.
As soon as we arrived in DC the three of us ran around all the sights. Seemed like the best way to see the city and work off last night’s meal.
Off to go looking for a brunch spot with Mikky.
Great food in chicago, loved this brunch we had with the whole crew.
Tacos and margies are another tour essential.

We may or may not have stopped for some medieval helmets at a truck stop in the Midwest.

Here’s a shot of me backstage at Coachella with Harrison from Odesza.
