TRACE Gets Our Emotions Running In “Low” Music Video

You might recall TRACE as the elegantly captivating young singer from the “Honey” music video we premiered in July 2016. Just when we started to miss her sweet voice and deeply artistic disposition, TRACE has returned with the official music video for “Low,” the title and most successful single from her Low EP.

In the visual, we watch the Vietnamese songstress ponder the dwindling hope for a flawed relationship to survive. She shared with The FADER,

“Sometimes I feel like I’m addicted to disappointment. It’s a new kind of feeling every time and it’s strangely exciting. ‘Low’ is about that feeling: an invitation for something you know is not good enough for you but for some reason, you keep fighting for it—pushing for 'more’ out of nothing. It’s addicting and it’s tiring but it can be fun.”

With its simplicity comes much power, and we wouldn’t be surprised if this music video reaches the 11 million plays that “Low” has collected on Spotify alone. Listen to more TRACE here.
