Norwegian singer-songwriter, Anna Of The North has been mastering her unique take on indie music for the past couple of years, but is finally getting the recognition she deserves. Born Anna Lotterud, Anna Of The North was originally a duo featuring producer Brady Daniell-Smith, but now performs as a solo artist and collaborates with other producers around the world. Her distinct left-of-center vocals soar over catchy electro-pop synths and melodies. In 2014, Anna Of The North released her first single “Sway” which landed her a record deal with Honeymoon, a New York based label. Later that year, The Chainsmokers released their official remix of “Sway.”

Her debut album, Lovers, dropped in 2017 and the project flawlessly showcased Lotterud’s delicate voice and emotive lyricism. The single “Lovers” from the album made an appearance in the hit Netflix film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. This feature in the teen romance movie introduced Anna Of The North to its millions of viewers.

Anna Of The North is gearing up to release her sophomore album later this fall. “Leaning On Myself” and “Used To Be” are the first two singles from her upcoming album. The two tracks explore more of Lotterud’s electro-pop side compared to songs on her previous record. The singles are already some of Anna Of The North’s most streamed singles, alluding to a massive wave of popularity for Anna Of The North and her incredibly bright future.
