French-Canadian model-turned-singer Charlotte Cardin is quickly making a name for herself by mixing contemporary electronic production with the tried-and-true traditions of jazz and classic pop. Restrained and vulnerable, Cardin's artistry brings to mind performers like Lianne La Havas and Jessie Ware who put their own enticing spin on R&B.
2016 marked the arrival Cardin's debut EP Big Boy, which saw phenomenal fanfare, reaching #1 on Canada's iTunes Store and earning over ten-million plays on Spotify alone. Cardin's stunning debut into the music scene earned earned her praise from the likes of Nylon, The Fader, Noisey, and Pigeons and Planes, along with an opening spot on Nick Murhphy's 2017 tour. Eager fans didn't have to wait too long for new music as Cardin returned in 2017 with an equally stunning follow-up EP, Main Girl, following soon after with her new single "California" released earlier this year.
