Folk / Pop / Rock / Singer-Songwriter
There's a laundry list of reasons why you should be cheering for singer-songwriter Harry Hudson, his music only being one of them. Soon after releasing his first song in 2013, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, and was forced to put his music career on hold to fight the disease. Eight months later, he was back to full health, and was soon hard at work getting his career back on track. 2015 saw him release two EPs in Treatment (A-Side) and Gemineyes, delving into his experiences with chemotherapy and becoming more solid in his sound.
Now signed to Jaden Smith's MSFTS label as well as Roc Nation, Hudson just released his debut album, Yesterday's Tomorrow Night. January's "Yellow Lights" has especially picked up traction, earning two million Spotify streams to date. He's been active outside of music as well, however, as he spearheaded a fundraiser to build a treatment center at Vanderbilt University with Teen Cancer America and released a contemporary western short film titled Can Cowboys Cry in February.
