Loyle Carner is Britain's most recent new hope in hip hop. The talented emcee from South London has been causing quite a stir following the release of his debut A Little Late EP in September of 2014. All but one track on the EP was produced by Loyle’s right hand man and live partner, Rebel Kleff. The two of them create reminiscent old school hip-hop with their own UK and modern influences.

Following the release of his debut EP, Carner performed on big stages such as Glastonbury Festival, supporting Joe Badass during his UK tour. In late 2015, Carner collaborated with award-winning poet Kate Tempest, who is also known as a spoken-word artist and appeared on various stages. In October 2015, he got a chance to play on Huw Stephens ‘BBC Radio 1 show in their Piano session series.

In late October 2016, he supported Nas in his show at the O2 Arena in London. His highly-anticipated debut album, entitled Yesterday's Gone, was released on January 20, 2017. Now in 2019, Carner has unleashed his terrific new record, Not Waving, But Drowning.
