Opia is an indie electronic group consisting of Cole Citrenbaum (vocals/guitar), DJ Stanfill (vocals/keys), and colorthought (producer). The band formed after meeting at Yale University in 2016 and launching the viral hit "Falling". "Falling", which was recorded in a dormitory studio, quickly rocketed to the top of Hype Machine and Spotify's Viral Charts. In July 2017, Opia released their debut EP Faded, which garnered support from Spotify New Music Friday, BBC Radio 1, TIME Magazine, and more. Last year, the band, which tours as a two-piece live set, completed full US tours supporting Marian Hill and Whethan. Recently, Opia featured on singles with Ekali (OWSLA), Louis Futon (Foreign Family), and Whethan (Atlantic). With their new Beverly Blues EP, The group are currently finishing writing and production for more original music set for 2019.
