This smashing release not only caught the attention of Spain, remaining on their charts for a whopping 67 weeks, but the world at large garnering a nomination in the Latin GRAMMY’s for Best New Artist.
November, 2018 saw the release of her ground-breaking album El Mar Querer. ROSALÍA took the leading creative role on the project, co-producing it with electronic Spanish musician El Guincho. The singles off the album, “MALAMENTE” and “PIENSO EN TU MIRÁ" were accompanied by powerful music videos, garnering ROSALÍA two viral sensations. The videos feature traditional images of Spain reinterpreted, again lending to ROSALÍA's trend of rejuvenating tradition with tantalizing tenacity.
