Kelsey Byrne is the singer songwriter behind VÉRITÉ’s powerful electronic sound. An innovative mix of raging synthesizers and romantic lyrics set Byrne up for success in the music industry. After receiving her BA in studio composition from SUNY Purchase, Byrne immediately started recording music under the name VÉRITÉ. After working for more than ten years as a waitress, through both college and through part of her recording career, Byrne finally quit her job and released her first single in mid-2014. Titled “Strange Enough,” The single went #1 on Hype Machine and was followed by live shows and several more singles. Also notably, she released a cover of The 1975’s song, “Somebody Else,” which garnered more than 70 million listens on Spotify.
