Remember the smash hit that stayed on Dance Radio at #1 for 6 weeks straight? Well songstress ABIR, the featured vocalist and sole songwriter on the Cash Cash dance anthem, has released an acoustic version for "Finest Hour" that will soon reach the music charts itself.
23 year-old ABIR has been named on of Billboard's "most exciting new voices," a testament to the soulful pop tone that grew from a childhood spent listening to jazz and R&B. Her father owned a limousine company where he played the same four icons on repeat for his clients: Etta James, Sarah Vaughn, Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. ABIR has been direct support for acts like Alessia Cara, Bob Moses, and Anime, while partnering with Clinique and Beats by Dre. Adding to her roster of impressive career endeavors, she has also played shows at NYFW with Fendi and Made.
ABIR writes with an honest pen explaining, "The goal with my music is to inspire and encourage young people like myself to find their voice and embrace their identity." The authenticity in this statement is as raw as the acoustic version of "Finest Hour," accompanied by overwhelming string ensemble and gorgeous piano that elevate her stunning voice.
