If the "u" in their name didn't give it away, Crooked Colours is a project born from Australians. Philip Slabber, Leon De Baughn and Liam Merrett-Park have been working under the moniker since 2013, slowly but surely rising to international attention for their moody, inventive alternative sound.
2017 saw the release of their debut album Vera, which contains their most popular song to date, "Flow." Now they're teasing album number two with singles "I'll Be There" and the latest, "Do It Like You." Their music is reminiscent of the indie-electronic stylings of Alt-J and Miike Snow, but they've got a fresh approach that keeps their sonic samples and instrumentals distinctly their own. Crooked Colours just finished supporting Irish Popster EDEN on his tour, and are currently hitting cities on their second U.S. headline tour.
