Crywolf's "Quantum Immortality" Is A Sonic Gift To the Electronic World

Put Alt-J, Crystal Castles, and Flume in one room and you’ll get indie electronic work of Crywolf, otherwise known as Justin Taylor Phillips. Signed to Okami records, the LA-based producer/musician recently debuted his new single, “Quantum Immortality.”

He dropped the track following his previous release Cataclasm (The Remixes) in 2016, which features a new take on his 2015 album, Cataclasm. The album has been hailed as his best effort effort to date, debuting in the top 10 on the Billboard electronic charts.

Heavy emotions drive the explosive track: "I feel I’m going under, ‘cause my heart is bleeding colors for you.” Even before the middle of the song, sultry vocals soar over a wave punchy electronic elements.

This year was a big year for Crywolf, but we’re staying tuned to see what he does next. Until then, stream the song below.
