No transformation is as amazing as the one from local indie band to global pop powerhouse, and yet Cub Sport makes it look easy. The independent group has taken their success in strides and continues to use their platform to share a message of affection and appreciation. With hit songs like “Come on Mess Me Up,” “Hawaiian Party,” and “Chasin’,” it’s no wonder why the world has taken notice of their laidback alternative pop sound.
The Brisbane-based quartet comprised of Tim Nelson (lead vocals, keyboards, guitar), Zoe Davis (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Sam “Bolan” Netterfield (keyboards, vocals) and Dan Puusaari (drums) kicked off their fall tour with shows in Chicago all the way to Los Angeles. Whether they’re exploring Niagara Falls, vegan restaurant hunting, or casually listening to the unreleased album No. 3, Cub Sport brings their charismatic spirit to everything they do while touring the States. Follow along as Cub Sport gives us an intimate look at their adventures on the road through their tour diary.

We stayed in a little town just out of Boston called Sturbridge, and it was one of our fav parts of the whole tour - the vibe there was beautiful and the lake and autumn leaves were so pretty!
We went to Niagara Falls on my birthday, and it was as breathtaking as ever.
The flash blew out the sign in this pic but it’s Suffolk St on the lower east side of Manhattan. Verse 3 of our song “Come On Mess Me Up” has a lyric, “I was stumbling on Suffolk throwing up real hard,” which is about this street! Quite a gruesome lyric for what is arguably our prettiest song lol
Bolan and Zo doing some window jewelry shopping in China Town NYC. We were on our way to an amazing vegan restaurant, Buddha Bodai Kosher Veg.
Part way along the drive from New Orleans to Atlanta - listening to album 3 masters that had just come in!
Outside Mohawk in Austin just before we loaded in for our show - Austin was such a vibe, and we got AMAZING vegan burgers just down the street at Argo’s - definitely recommend!
Womb Gallery in Oklahoma City. This is The Flaming Lips psychedelic art centre which was unfortunately closed the day we were there, but it was worth the visit just for the outside of the building!
Lake Louise! Beautiful moment in a beautiful place with my beautiful husband!
