Drugdealer Takes Us Back To The ‘70s With “Suddenly”

From Salvia Path to Run DMT to the now simply Drugdealer, producer/songwriter Michael Collins never ceases to entertain us with his drug-referencing project names, as well as his nostalgic style of sound. Letting Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering take the reins on vocals, Drugdealer has crafted an easy listening piece featuring a funky piano-led melody, a saxy excerpt around the one minute mark, and a nature-dominant music video to accompany.

“Suddenly” is the first single from Drugdealer’s debut album, The End Of Comedy, produced by fellow Los Angeles producer Ariel Pink. The record is due Sept. 9 via Weird World Records–pre-order it here.
