Escape Into an Indie-pop Dreamland with Skinnydip’s New Single, “Hide”

Indie-pop duo, Skinnydip just released their second single of 2018 with the spacey, dream-pop break-up anthem “Hide.” The track is rich with ethereal sounds but rooted in a consistent, driving beat which together induces a sort of trance over the listener. As lead-vocalist Jon Hill muses that his former love is “on your own,” the production builds and flowers into an array of shimmering textures and celestial sounds. Though the musical elements of the tune are certainly out of this world, the lyrics are undeniably relatable and genuine.

Childhood friends, Sandro Buccellati and Jon Hill relocated from New York to Los Angeles in the fall of 2017. Since their move, they have been busy collaborating with other artists and producers, releasing four singles to date. Be sure to stay tuned for more indie-pop gold from this talented pair!
