Lostboycrow once told us that his ultimate goal is to "tear down invisible walls ‘til the world sings and dances in its wide open spaces." With each and every new musical creation, he seems to be accomplishing just that. "Stay A Little Longer" is the latest, and Ones To Watch is honored to present your exclusive premiere today.
Compared to Lostboycrow's previous releases, "Stay A Little Longer" gravitates a bit more towards catchy pop verses that depict the concept of fighting to salvage what's left of a precarious romantic relationship. Meanwhile, LBC's full-bodied R&B-leaning vocals take center stage as whimsically dynamic electronic production allows the song to fall both in the gloomy break-up and lighthearted dancing categories. Lostboycrow shared some insight on the lyrics,
"'Stay A Little Longer' was written from the standpoint of being in the middle of an intimate and familiar relationship that is at the point of being tested to either fall apart in the flames of a short romance, or slowly dance in the burn of resolution."
Listen to "Stay A Little Longer" below. Happy Friday, friends!
