Tucked away in eastern Los Angeles in the trendy neighborhood of Silverlake lies the Bootleg Bar. Bootleg offers a venue resembling an old western twist on today’s modern interior, creating a rather comfortable and upscale environment. The acts that can be found at the Bootleg range from acoustic to experimental hip-hop, and everything in between, creating an atmosphere of bewilderment mixed with delightful surprise. This venue almost certainly promises a night of surprises.
Bardot (It’s A School Night!)

It is as if KCRW’s Chris Douridas read everyone’s mind and knew that nothing would satisfy LA more than free music and a lively atmosphere to uplift our depressing start of the week, he created School Night Monday Night. To ease the painful beginning of our weeks School Night! brings a variety of rising artists to perform, for free, in the open roof venue of The Bardot. Past acts have included Banks, RAC, Broods, and more to ensure there is no lack of talent performing on School Night!
Low End Theory

With every week comes hump day, but luckily Low End Theory provides the perfect venue to celebrate completing the first half of your week. Residing DJ Gaslamp Killer teams up weekly with various EDM artists, who always add their unique flavor to the show. Low End is far from an expensive night out, at only $10 admission you’re sure to have money left over for a drink…or two.
Santa Monica Twilight Series

The Summer Twilight Series returns to the Santa Monica Pier this Thursday, July 10th. California’s landmark attraction, the Santa Monica Pier, will be the stage for a variety of performing acts including Charles Bradley, Cayucas, Cults, and OK Go. This indie rock heavy summer lineup is the perfect place to relax and dance away a summer evening while enjoying a cool Pacific breeze and a brilliant beach sunset.
