Justin Bieber’s show opener, Moxie Raia, drops new mixtape “#931,” bombarded with catchy beats and collaborations

Between recording new music and currently opening for Justin Bieber on his Purpose Tour, Moxie Raia has been one busy artist. However, she finally dropped the much anticipated mixtape #931 this past week, which is available on SoundCloud and her website. The mixtape features appearances from multiple artists, including Pusha T, Wyclef Jean, fellow tour-mate Post Malone, and one of our favorite Ones To Watch artists, Goldlink. The mixtape, named after her building's address, includes catchy R&B/Pop tunes with soulful and jazz-influenced sounds.

What's really unique about the mixtape is the passion, creativity, and dedication put into it. Ending her relationship with Capitol Records in recent months, Moxie Raia recorded the tracks on her own and with collaborators. She tells Noisey, "It allowed me to have my own studio, where I could make everything myself. And have freedom. And experiment." The records promote the value of strength in having feelings and sharing emotions, as well as other issues Moxie cares about. Take a listen to the singer-songwriter's acrobatic vocal range and infectious melodies on #931 and keep an eye out for her on Bieber's Purpose Tour.
