Have we mentioned one of our favorite new albums - The Speed of Things? Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. bounded back on the scene with this one, especially on the track “Run,” which the band made available on SoundCloud today. It’s filled with the duo’s trademark carbonated production with tiny moments of literal jabs as smile-inducing as they’re unexpected (e.g. “The only thing that gets me off is painful enough to feel pleasure”). Whereas most of The Speed of Things parades itself as a thing of polished, glossy appeal, “Run” is a tight, synchronous dance that shows the band’s propensity for running off into the wild is still there.
