Michl Bares Grim Optimism in New Single, “Everything’ll Change”

With each new release, we uncover another piece to the puzzle that is Michl, the most enigmatic Ones To Watch artist yet. Following his self-titled debut EP in August 2016, we discover another side of Michl in his latest creation–a political side.

In regards to "Everything'll Change," Michl shared,

"Right now it’s important to express our feelings on the current social climate. For me, anger and frustration are involved on a daily basis. But at the core, all these emotions stem from being hopeful that things will soon change."

While the focus behind the new single may have shifted from love and relationships to the black hole of current public affairs, the essence of Michl's music remains consistent. Smooth, compelling vocals laid over lush electronic soundscapes that remind us why we've missed Michl over the last several months.

As he just concluded a tour supporting Mura Masa and recently opened for Tove Lo, it's already looking like a major year for one of our 20 Artists To Watch in 2017
