NEW ARTIST DISCOVERY: Kanye West Protégé, 070 Shake Continues Rise to Stardom With “Accusations”

Breakout star 070 Shake has had an incredibly busy 2018, collaborating with the likes of Kanye West and Pusha T, and performing at West's iconic Wyoming listening party back in June. The New Jersey rapper and singer was initially signed to West's label G.O.O.D. Music back in 2016 after West heard her tunes and reached out. Fast forward to 2018 and her debut EP Glitter has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, including "Mirrors" and "Stranger," which have each garnered over a million streams on their own.

Shake still isn't slowing down, and has just released "Accusations," her latest moody ballad that's soaked with emotion, yet radiates Shake's signature edgy style. You can feel her passion as her throaty voice powerfully sings "Double up, your love is not enough / Thank you for your accusations." The track is her first unaccompanied single since her EP gained major attention, and its poignant lyrics in combination with her undeniably unique and moving voice do not disappoint. During the last moments of "Accusations," you can feel her pain and her raw emotion as she belts out the last lines with her pure, unedited tenderness.

Shake is giving other artists in her category a run for their money as she racks up streams, explores the depths of contemporary R&B and rap, and steals our hearts with her impressively memorable style. This is just the beginning for 070 Shake, and we're excited to see what else she has in store.
