Yesterday, we revealed our Best Albums of 2013 by Ones To Watch artists. Today, we’re looking ahead to the best new music coming our way next year. Here are some artists who are making the leap from EPs to full-length debuts (and sophomore albums) in 2014! Check them out below.

Soulful sweetheart Jessie Ware has announced she’s planning to release album number two in 2014. Her 2012 acclaimed debut, Devotion, was gorgeous through and through, and if her new track “True Believers” is any indication, we’re predicting her next album is going to be a hit as well.

The Swedish trio were hard at work playing shows behind their excellent Pumpin Blood EP this year, but the dream team of songwriter Stina Wäppling and producer Astma and Rocwell were also busily logging studio time for their debut album. Their Instagram has our hopes high that we’ll be hearing it very soon.

We can’t wait for what Lianne La Havas dreams up with in her highly-anticipated sophomore album. The soulful singer took to her social media last month to announce she is working on new songs for the followup to her lovely debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough. (Sidenote: She also posted a pic of casual hangs with Samuel L. Jackson in that same post.)

This year, BANKS’ EP LONDON set music blogs abuzz with fiery tracks like “Bedroom Wall” and “Waiting Game.” After heading out on tour with The Weeknd, BANKS is preparing to release her debut album early next year. To say we’re excited is an understatement.
Last month, Lovelife claimed in an interview with Ones To Watch that they would try to nail down their first album in three weeks. With three EPs and a year of touring behind them, we have a lot of faith that they’re actually going to pull it off. We really want to hear it so we’re holding you fellows to it!
When we last spoke to BASECAMP, it was right after the group played their first live show together at CMJ Music Marathon. Then, they blew us away when we saw them open with CHVRCHES on tour this fall. The guys were spending a lot of studio time before that (not that we blame them, apparently it overlooks a forest and a creek). They were excited to be recording so we’re curious to hear what music emerges on their second EP, and hopefully their first album.
