Soundtrack of the Day: Father John Misty's New Film Score

Has Father John Misty taken a turn for the less cheeky?

If you know anything about the brazenly out-there folk singer, you know that’s doubtful. But the man behind the moniker, Josh Tillman (formerly of Fleet Foxes), does have a sensitive side and it’s latest exposure comes in the form of a score for the upcoming short film The History of Caves. Directed by his wife, photographer Emma Tillman, the film is a family drama set in the Hollywood Hills (#dark by association already), and will have a limited release on Record Store Black Friday later this week. Can’t wait that long? Lucky for you, Sub Pop is currently streaming the score - listen to it below.
