Step Into Danish R&B Duo Phlake’s Mansion of Sounds [TOUR DIARY]

Danish duo phlake blew up with their 2016 debut album, Slush Hours, landing a placement in the Top 20 of the Danish Album Chart and five Danish Grammys, including "Best Danish Album" and "Best New Danish Artist." Vocalist Mads Bo Iverson and producer Jonathan Elkaer's latest single, "Waited All Summer," comes on the tails of their 2017 album, Weird Invitations, which garnered millions of streams. They've collaborated with the likes of Alina Baraz, a Ones To Watch favorite, and continue to expand their sound and their network with every new release. Wrapping up a nationwide Can We Talk Tour of their home country, the duo prides themselves on their alternative sound and experiential live shows.

The 'Can We Talk?' show is split in 5 different sections. This is 'Section One; "The Phlake Mansion Studio."' The audience is invited into the studio for a chill sit down studio session. While playing stripped down alternative versions of new and old material, Phlake also show and explain some of the beat making process. From the left: Lasse Ziegler (guitar), Jonathan Elkaer (keys, synth, production), Wads.png (vocals), Louis Winding Børresen (bass, synth, vocals), Nikolaj Montin (drums, drumpad, vocals).
