We would be remiss if we didn't talk about Prince's recently released new single, "Baltimore," which he debuted this past weekend (listen here). While the multi-Grammy winning pop star is far from a Ones To Watch artist, his social actions speak to the far greater impact music can have on society and important movements. His recent track, a collaboration with Eryn Allen Kane, is a rally cry to end police brutality and contains the arresting truth that "Peace is more than the absence of war." Prince hosted the "Rally 4 Peace" concert on May 2 in Baltimore to honor of victims of the most recent wave of police brutality, including Freddie Gray, Michael Brown, and Eric Garner. Check out his track above and stream the full concert with Prince and his Third Eye Girl band above.
