On the heels of their gritty Big K.R.I.T. remix last week, the duo took a sharp turn right and gave Neon Trees’ latest single “Sleeping With A Friend” a subtle flip. Like skilled robbers, the duo smuggles the pop-iness of the original out of sight and mask it in smoldering synths and echo-filled clouds. Check it out below.
April 6, 2014 Brooklyn electronic duo ASTR have remixed the hell out Missisippi rapper Big K.R.I.T.’s “Just Last Week.” The team with a penchant for Drake remakes morphs the original song, which featured Future, into a speedier, neon-glowing version of itself, almost a perfect cut for soundtracking some badass blockbuster car chase.
