Developing feelings for someone else can feel like navigating uncharted waters. For The Marías, they find themselves lost over the moon.
Presenting a Hollywood glam-like video that stars both The Marías and their claymation counterparts, "Over the Moon" highlights the band's mellow, dream pop sound. Utilizing vintage effects on the vocals while also going a little old school on their synths, The Marías dazzle like never before. Both the echoing reverb and ending guitar solo will have you feeling cooler than an astronaut's freeze-dried ice cream, while the playful imagery and use of animation accentuate the band's unique and quirky style.
"Over the Moon" is a romantic pop tune that captures the feeling of indecisiveness one may encounter when choosing between their head or their heart. Though your confusion may make you feel "lost completely," there's something about this person you're falling for that makes you come back down to Earth.
The Marías are headed out on the road for a joint tour with Triathalon this month. Be sure to find a city near you and grab your tickets!
