Netherlands duo DROELOE expertly weaves together intricately-produced sonic and visual stories to deliver cohesive, mesmerizing works of art. Joining San Holo’s bitbird shortly after the duo’s formation, the last couple of years have been explosive, playing sets at Coachella, EDC, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and more. The duo shows no signs of stopping. Their latest outing saw them release the slow-burning “Looking Back,” a tour de force of otherworldly progressive production, ahead of their highly-anticipated sophomore EP The Choices We Face, due out August 10.
As DROELOE continues forward on their meteoric rise, they journey out to Palm Springs this weekend to throw down a not-to-miss set at this year’s Splash House. We caught up with the Netherlands pair in the midst of it all. Venture out with DROELOE and us into a polaroid-filled escape across Europe.
Hi, we’re Hein and Vincent, aka DROELOE. And we’re taking you guys along on a couple shows we did in Europe last month.

Catching some zZz’s on our way to Sweden.
Vaxjo, Sweden. A beautiful place.
It’s always kinda scary to play a show for the first time in a country you’ve never been in, but we couldn’t wish for a better welcome in Sweden!
On our way to Cologne, Germany.
Always wanted to play at Bootshaus, such a legendary venue in Europe. Thanks for having us!
Thanks Taska Black for driving us to the train station <3
Contemplating life at the last stop of the weekend, Liege, Belgium.
Work work work.
Time to go home!
