Rook Monroe Paints a Sunrise With "Pink and Purple"

Rook Monroe first began his career as a songwriter before moving into his solo material and the writing on his new single  "Pink and Purple" vividly shows this.  "Pink and Purple" takes you on a lyrical exploration of self expression. While his debut  "Jolie" was lovestruck as Monroe reflected on a relationship, the follow up release is much more personal.

Teaming up again with producers Trackside,  "Pink and Purple" is sentimental, laid back, and piano driven. The hook  "I’ll paint a picture, here it goes. Warn you, I'm no Michelangelo. But even he had to start somewhere. Why not the unknown." is poetic and elegant.

Rook Monroe proves he belongs in the spotlight. With an ear for production, charismatic delivery, and top tier writing, it's clear that Rook Monroe belongs center stage.
