Fast-rising, viral alt-punk rap duo Joey Valence & Brae are having the time of their lives on their latest single, "THE BADDEST." The single is a body-shaking Miami bass banger that reeks of influences from Fatman Scoop and LMFAO and is destined to be a riot-inducing live favorite as festival season blazes on.

The single opens with Joey asking, "Do you think anybody's actually gonna dance to this?" Brae responds, "No," and the track erupts with the grandiose sound of horns, claps, and beats, preparing the listener for the delicious chaos that is about to ensue. A booming bass fills the background as 808s prop up the duo's passionate vocal delivery. The track's hook proclaims them as "the baddest bitch in this club," while their verses actually back up the claim by including clever bars like, "I'm tall, thick, and handsome / All black fit, call me Danny Phantom," and "Self-produced, ain't got no hands/ Actin' goofy, comic sans."

"The whole time we were making this album, we just wanted an early 2000's style club banger, and we did just that," says Joey Valence & Brae. "Describing this song is quite hard, it is literally just chaos and energy filled to the brim. It is equally one of our favorite songs from the album and will surely make an insane live song for us. If you don't feel like a bad bitch listening to this song, you're doing something incredibly wrong."

The track arrives accompanied by a high-energy video featuring JVB and their close circle of friends. The fun visual switches between camcorder, fish eye lens footage of the duo partying and dancing in a living room with their pals and a pup and scenes of the artists performing the track on the roof of a parking garage in the middle of the night, having an absolute blast.

"THE BADDEST" will be featured on the pair's upcoming sophomore album NO HANDS, out June 7, and houses Joey Valence & Brae's most impressive work to date, signifying a massive progression as they skillfully traverse a smash-and-grab collision of '90s hip-hop, drum 'n' bass, and decades-spanning pop culture references while remaining undeniably themselves. The pair can be seen through mid-May on an East Coast tour with Sum 41, while NO HANDS will land just in time for festival season, and playing live is where Joey Valence & Brae genuinely excel.
