Ayoni Sets the Ultimate Mood in  "Rap Songs" Video [Premiere]

Innovative R&B songstress Ayoni sings with an air of mystery. "Rap Songs," which appears on her debut project  Iridescent,  emanates a mystic energy, teasing our ears and pleasing our sense. Now, Ayoni's given the lustful track the visual treatment.  

She teamed up with director Jocelyn Woods to create a video we can only describe as a dark flame. To match the track's mood and daring spiritual style, the Barbadian-born artist roams every inch of an eerily-lit parking lot. Ayoni's soft, pure vocals bounce from wall to concrete wall, creating a booming sensation in your ears.  

In the visual Ayoni sings, "Watch my body moving / (Watch my body moving babe)," to her own moving image in various mirrors in both cars and corners. The use of such fierce colors like red, yellow, and green gives the sharp angles of the song plenty of visual dimensions. It's a timeless soul-filled track with vivid '90s synths and cascading falsetto harmonies that flow down a slow-motion waterfall.
