dhruv Channels His Inner Hopeless Romantic in "moonlight"

With scattered roots in the UK, Singapore, and India, dhruv first explored his interest in songwriting when he was 15. Now, the 20-year-old soulful crooner is preparing to release his debut EP, Con Artist, which focuses heavily on navigating queer love. As a special treat, dhruv is giving us a generous preview of the forthcoming EP with "moonlight."

Written entirely about being a hopeless romantic, "moonlight" has dhruv fantasizing about the fairytale romance we have all been conditioned to want. The gorgeous acoustic guitar we hear in the opening leads into steady percussion, which is later joined by dhruv's undeniably dreamy vocals. dhruv spoke further on  "moonlight," reflecting,

"Honestly though, I've had the most fulfilling few months making music with my friends in New Haven, NYC, and beyond. Felt it was important to hold back on releasing something before I spent time in the studio and thought more consciously about what I wanted it all to sound like. Haven't fully arrived at an answer, but I'm kinda okay with that now."

"moonlight" feels like only the start for dhruv, and it would be an understatement to say we are here for what comes next.
