HYRA's "Rendezvous" Displays Her Vibrant Vocals and Engaging Storytelling

Singer-songwriter and popstar-in-the-making HYRA is only five songs into her discography but is already showing immense staying power. Her debut single "Sad Lullaby" immediately caught editorial support for its catchy melodies and HYRA's smooth vocal tones. Following singles  "Broken Heart,"  "All That I Said," and  "Where We Can't See" all matched the incredible vocal performance showcased on her debut while continuing to display her songwriting consistency.

HYRA is now back with "Rendezvous," the first single from her forthcoming debut EP. "If you pay close attention to the lyrics, you will notice the song takes ownership of one’s existence as a side chick similar to SZA’s 'The Weeknd.' It definitely follows the feminist themes underlying all of my music," HYRA tells us.

"Rendezvous" is a colorful electronic pop single that displays HYRA's vocal versatility and her continual songwriting expertise. Beyond engaging storytelling, "Rendezvous" also features a bright, grand instrumental, incorporating elements of modern electronic produced by up-and-coming producer Mstrada. The track is also HYRA's first to include Spanish lyrics, which is a huge milestone for the Latinx artist.
