Jake Miller is truly a dynamic artist with an undeniable passion for emotive music, and his latest single “Wait For You” no surprisingly debuted at #1 on Apple Music’s Breaking Pop playlist. Following a sold-out performance at New York’s Highline Ballroom to celebrate the highly-anticipated release, Miller is back at it again with an acoustic version of “Wait For You.”

Jake Miller exclusively shared with Ones To Watch,

“Performing the acoustic version of ‘Wait For You’ on a beautiful grand piano with a choir behind me was so unreal. When you strip a song all the way down, that’s when you realize how beautiful a song can truly be.”

Directed by Austin McCracken and shot at The Barber Shop Studios in New Jersey, this stripped-down performance showcases Miller’s ability to switch sonic gears from booming, enthusiastic pop to a soft, piano-driven ballad style. “Wait For You” reflects on the idea of “right person, wrong time” as Miller narrates the story of someone who professes his undying love for someone and his willingness to wait for this person to be completely ready for a relationship.

Following his massive North American Hit & Run tour, Miller independently released his third full-length LP Silver Lining, and he has no intention of slowing down now. Miller is set to unleash his new EP this spring (marking his first record as a Sony Music artist), and he’s also planning a nationwide U.S. tour to support the forthcoming release.
