Watch James Blake Cover Billie Eilish and FINNEAS' "when the party's over"

In case you needed another reason to stan Billie Eilish, FINNEAS, James Blake, or all of the above, today we are elated to present you a truly heavenly cover. The new cover comes on the heels of a resolution Blake made for the new year and decade to "spend more time at my instrument than at a laptop."

It is a resolution that gifted us with an angelic cover of Frank Ocean's "Godspeed," and now an earth-shattering rendition of Billie Eilish's "when the party's over." The track appeared on Eilish' universally-acclaimed debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?,  and was written and produced by her sole collaborator and producer, FINNEAS.

The video and cover is a simple yet spellbinding one, featuring a single shot of Blake perched at a piano, while he lets his divine falsetto float through the air. The only added note was a quick nod to the original composers, as Blake stated in a tweet, "P.s. what a ridiculously good song this is @billieeilish & @finneas."

The shared appreciation was echoed in a tweet by FINNEAS, who perfectly voiced our feelings, confessing, "On the list of things I feel grateful for for, James ranks higher than just about everything."
