Following up on his electric debut single, John MacLane is back with another power-driven single entitled, "You Won't". Heavily influenced by The 1975 and Jeremy Zucker, MacLane adds his own unique twist to his music. As he mixes genres like hyperpop and emo, he creates a method for an addicting sound.

It meshed the nostalgic emo vibe we're very aware of from our middle school and high school days. It quickly transitioned into a weave of heavily weighted bass and synth. Unlike a lot of the music that is being put out right now, it instantly turned us on, but we needed more.

He digs deeper into his lyrical content, showcasing his diversity in his ability to hit a broader demographic. Still hanging on to the experimental electronic vibe he displayed in his first single, MacLane establishes a more radio-friendly produced single. The songwriting seems robust and confident, illustrating the growth we'll see in each song down the line. The production is crisp and cleaner than the first release, only leaving us hungry for more to come from this promising artist.
