Justus Bennetts Continues His Winning Streak With "Insomniac"
Justus Bennetts has me jumping around and whipping my head back and forth to forget about the nightmare I had last night. For good reason, there's a lot taxing our minds these days, but luckily songs like "Insomniac" are there to help us feel less alone.
Justus is energetic and intentional in his anthemic music. There's an innate relatability to be found in his solid vocal and instrumental homage to masterful pop-rock. Six months ago, Justus only had a couple thousand streams to his name. Now, he's established himself as a real on-the-verge artist to be contended with, taking over this generation's defining playlists. His previous release, "Real Life Sux" generated an impressive one million streams in its first week. The magnetic sounds and messaging of the track resulted in it being added to Alt Nation as a "Critical Cut" and soared the song to peak at #18 on US Viral Charts. Prior to that, Justus' fifth song ever, "Nightstand," debuted at #8.
"Insomniac" is a banger with similar kinetic energy. It's a song you can jam out to alone or with friends, especially when you're feeling angsty. You'll be singing the melodic chorus over and over again, and the electric guitar and drum beat will run right through you.
