Breakout Australian artist KIAN perfectly captures what it feels like to be young. Emerging from the quiet Victorian town of Castlemaine, 2018 saw him stepping into the limelight after winning triple j's Unearthed High competition. Only 14 at the time, the promising Australian talent has shown no signs of slowing down in the past couple years, a notion he makes perfectly clear on "Every Hour."

The latest single from KIAN, "Every Hour" is an effortless vibe carried by serene sonics and heartfelt lyricism. Blending alternative-pop and R&B elements, KIAN takes a cue from the poetic musings of Tom Misch and Loyle Carner, all while still finding the time to carve out a space all his own. The result is an infectious serenade you cannot help but get swept up in.

"Every Hour" is more than just a sun-soaked ride from start to finish; it is a sublime ode to the power of open and honest communication between you and your partner. The sonic personification of the sun parting the dark storm clouds of one's past, KIAN spoke further on the real-life inspiration behind his latest single, sharing,

"This song embodies safety within a relationship, learning about and acknowledging each other's past in order to better understand one another. I wrote this song based on a personal experience in a relationship. My loved one opened up for the first time allowing me to comfort them on any doubts they had and I reassured them that they can trust in me to not repeat any negative things from their past. It's all about love and the complexities that come with it but also happiness, growth and creating new memories together."

In addition the groove-inducing single and gentle reminder to cherish our relationships, KIAN has gifted us with a music video for "Every Hour," premiering here today.
