Lauren Sanderson Shows a Softer Side in Her "Hotel Room"

Lauren Sanderson's very first single from her debut album  has just arrived. "Hotel Room" is a swirling combination of soul and alt-pop. The Indiana born and raised R&B artist gives us a look into her own vulnerability in her relationship.

"Hotel Room" shows a gentler side of Sanderson. Known for her too-hot-to-touch rhymes and fierce vibes, this song highlights Sanderson's other talents. Production is a bit more stripped back making her voice the center of attention. She's exclusively singing on this heart aching track, and makes it so much more sensitive. After all, "Hotel Room" is a love song where Sanderson focuses on wanting endless, fun, and passionate nights with the one she loves, even though the night may not end that way.

I just wanna live fast tonight.
I just wanted to do you right.
And if you wit it then baby.
Come with me.
I'll get you tonight.

Sanderson's been killing the game releasing a steady stream of hard hitting singles since her Don't Panic EP. As we eagerly awaited her debut album, we'll keep "Hotel Room" on repeat. Listen below!

Vibe out with Sanderson as she joins Finneas on their sold out tour this fall, and prepare for the  "Hotel Room" live acoustic premiering on Ones To Watch soon!
