Moontower's "Hit the Lights" Is an Uplifting Banger

Want some good boy band fun and a pop song that'll get you and your friends off your feet? Look no further. The super likeable band Moontower hits the jackpot with their latest single, "Hit the Lights."

Beyond being an uplifting banger, "Hit the Lights" is a track that lives at the perfect crossroads of raw instrumentation and savvy production elements. Moontower has seemed to master this balance, and they never fail to seamlessly mesh new and interesting sounds into their electronic pop music. The chorus of "Hit the Lights" is an iridescent burst filled with bright, expansive layered vocals and feel-good electric guitar and drums.

Although I so badly wish I could experience Moontower perform this song live, the band has already adjusted to the quarantine times and embarked on a "What Day Is It?" Virtual Tour presented by Bandsintown. With unique openers, setlists, and killer stage production for each night, the four-night tour benefitted two amazing organizations, Know Your Rights Camp and NIVA. "Hit the Lights" marks the focus track of Moontower's 2020 EP titled "What Day Is It?"

If you're a follower of the three-piece indie-electronic band (as you should be), then you're still jamming out to their collaboration single "Guess I'm Jaded" with Goldroom and subsequent RAC fronted remix.

With utter drive and excitement to keep the music and entertainment coming, Jacob, Tom, and Devan can't wait to deliver their first album this Fall as well as a music video for "Hit the Lights."
