Noah Slee Writes a Love Letter To New York Following Majestic Casual World Tour [TOUR DIARY]

image

This past year saw YouTube channel and label Majestic Casual take their eclectic brand of electronic-leaning music to fans across with the Majestic World Tour. As part of Majestic's mission to deliver a unique live experience, they enlisted the otherworldly talents of New Zealand's Noah Slee.

Slee's distinctive artistry blends traditional soul influences with modern production aesthetics to create a heavenly fusion of future beats, contemporary soul, progressive R&B, and indie-electronica. It's a sight and sound to behold and one that he amazed audiences with at Majestic's stop in New York this past year.

He shared on the experience,

"New York City…

I flew into NYC from Berlin where I am based. I decided to arrive a few days before the tour to settle in because it was about to be a busy tour. This city always gives me energy and inspiration. I am surprised every time how much I get from just being present in this city. The music, food, people everything really is exactly what my soul needed at that time. Show day, I played in a really dope venue called Elsewhere in Brooklyn. The vibe is right, I got to see Lakim and Rei Brown play and my set went down real well. Crazy to see people in the crowd singing along and giving back; I mean I’m in NYC and that’s mind-blowing to me. The icing on the cake is I had a lot of good friends in the crowd and also noticed some people who have followed my music from day one so that was a good feeling. I’ve taken away more confidence and gratitude to continue to do my shit and make art. Looking forward to coming back with a bigger show and new music."
