Born Jared Pellerin, the New Orleans native has fostered an impressive reputation in the robust rap scene under the moniker Pell. After evacuating to Jackson, Mississippi, in midst of the Hurricane Katrina turmoil, Pell discovered that his beat machine helped him connect with people in this unfamiliar neighborhood. Pell eventually decided to pursue a full-time career in music, which has seen him producing some of the fieriest tracks–including his latest solo release, "Bitch Ass."

Following his recent collaboration with Great Good Fine Ok, Pell has unveiled the cinematic one-take music video for the lively "Bitch Ass." As Pell stresses the importance of self-love, the "Bitch Ass" visual begins with the dimly-lit rapper in an orange turtleneck enunciating the powerful lyrics. The no-frills video continues on with alternating colors on the green screen as the lighting constantly shifts from bright to dark, which Pell uses as an opportunity for listeners to intimately reflect on themselves and their questionable surroundings.

On the "Bitch Ass" music video, Pell reflected,

"Less is more. 'Bitch Ass' was inspired by reflection so it's only right the video is the same. I didn't want a bunch of b-roll and extra effects. I wanted more raw and focused energy so that people could hear the words and have to watch me say them. Miles and AJ, the directors, developed one of the most delicately constructed sets of all time."
