At the top of the year, we named spill tab one of our top artists to watch in the year to come, and it's a bet that has been paying dividends. Following her 2020 debut EP, Oatmilk, the rising artist has spent the better part of 2021 releasing a series of singles that each show off a new side of the enviable artist. And with the release of the Tommy Genesis-assisted "Indecisive," spill tab makes her most adventurous leap yet.

Produced by longtime collaborator marinelli, "Indecisive" moves at a mile a minute, incorporating hints of drum 'n' bass, experimental pop, understated UK dance, and glitchy production. From the very outset, listening to spill tab's latest feels like giving yourself over to a mind that is racing forward at a mile a minute. It's a sentiment perfectly confounded by her ethereal lyrics that exist somewhere between lucid dream state and lingering anxiety attack. "My mind is all mixed up lalala / my mind is melting off / so fucking indecisive / big debates inside my mind," coolly sings spill tab, betraying the underlying fervor on full display.

Hurdling forward with no end in sight, "Indecisive" races towards its inevitable conclusion with an intoxicating hunger, not even taking a moment's breath as Tommy Genesis delivers a standout verse. It's a testament not just to marinelli's relentless production acumen but spill tab's acrobatic flexibility. Whether it be floating through the realm of bedroom pop or skirting over experimental production, spill tab's scope feels limitless.
