SypSki Joins Forces With lil rxspy and Landon Cube on New Track "Down & Out"

Late last month, Chicago artist SypSki graced fans with his newest single "Down & Out" featuring guest appearances from lil rxspy and Landon Cube. This track is SypSki's first release of 2021, and luckily this time around he provides listeners with his signature blend of alternative pop-punk with a high-energy new single. "Down & Out’’ sees the three young artists weaving their performances together into a track that serves as the ultimate love letter to love songs. Even though Valentine's Day has long passed, you may find yourself immediately adding this to your weekly rotation.

Hailing from Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Maryland respectively, one might not expect Sypski, lil rxspy, and Landon Cube to mesh well together - but this assumption is turned on its head with their newest banger "Down & Out." As the three artists trade vocal performances over an earnest and brooding mix flooded with guitar melodies and steady percussion, it becomes clear that this is not their first rodeo. All three artists offer effortless and seasoned vocal performances partly due to natural talent, but also simply because they have been honing their skills for a long time. lil rxspy was initially inspired to pursue music through SypSki's early tracks, so "Down & Out’’ partially serves as a platform for their relationship to come full circle. Even Landon Cube, hot from the success of his debut LP Sapphire, has immaculate chemistry with the other two artists as they trade performances. Their mutual love and affinity for subversive alt-pop makes me naturally think they should form a band together, but frankly I'm fine with enjoying "Down & Out" until that happens.

"Down & Out" is the perfect song for both your late-night-driving playlist and your beach day soundtrack, with SypSki, lil rxspy, and Landon Cube all offering their unique musical styles together on the same track. Featuring production from Amsterdam-based PACIFIC (Trevor Daniel, 347aidan), it seems like this single was destined to explode from its earliest moments of inception. If you missed it last month, it is definitely worth checking out - you won't regret it.
