You might only be getting familiar with Yeek now, but A$AP Rocky co-signed the DIY artist back in 2017. Born Sebastian Carandang, Yeek has been sharing his love stories with us since 2015 with his debut album, Love Slacker. This week, he continues to tell his lovelorn tales with the sultry new single, "Freaky (RGB)."

Yeek boasts a playful garage beat and dreamy vocals with a pop-conscious approach in exuberant fashion. The airy drums and celestial synths make for the perfect backdrop to Yeek's seraphic serenade. "Freaky (RGB)" begins with a high-energy that guides you into the song's tender hook. He picks up the passion for the second half, matching the vivacity of the first verse, but ends the record with gentle evocative thoughts about "late-night things."

The succinct tune, much like his whole discography, just makes you feel good. Whether he's crafting a dancey club-ready vibe, showing off his indie grooves, seducing us with R&B soul, or even dropping bars - Yeek explores any genre with graceful artistry that makes you wonder how he even does it all.

Truly living up to the meaning of "DIY," Yeek breaks the boundaries of what music can do. His craft spans music, film, fashion, and art, and it packages it tightly into an easily digestible gift for anyone who stumbles across him. "Freaky (RGB)" is just the start to 2022, and with bedroom pop gaining worldwide recognition, there's no doubt Yeek is going to be in everyone's daily rotation soon enough.
