Aries Steps Out of the House and Back Into the Spotlight in "Cabin Fever"

Multi-hyphenate artist Aries returns just in time for the holidays with his latest single, "CABIN FEVER." The track displays Aries' seamless ability to blend indie, alternative, pop, and hip-hop with his signature vocal tone to narrate his journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and the desire for emotional connection.

"CABIN FEVER" opens with a collage of beats, synths, and percussion patterns as the artist vents about being inside for too long. He teases the chorus, crooning, "In the house for a very long time / Soul searching found me online / Jo end to my reach, Got a hand on the skies / Stop bein' so emotional, what you smokin' on?" Aching to break his physical and emotional confinement, he is determined to improve and evolve, indicating that he becomes better with time, just like wine.

By "soul-searching" online, Aries implies he's using the internet as a means of self-discovery, expanding his horizons and reaching out toward his limitless potential and ambition. In the illustrative lyrics of the verses, he touches upon themes of resilience, learning from past experiences, and letting go of negativity to move forward. It all comes to a sonic head on the bridge, where he paints an image of his parents before belting lines of overcoming and leaving his traumas and negative influences behind and getting what he knows he deserves.

"CABIN FEVER" comes off the back of the successful release of Aries' "SNAKE EYES." The song, which has garnered over 15 million streams across platforms in the few months since its release, opens with a flurry of guitar riffs and warm, intoxicating vocals. Maintaining his signature earworm hooks and songwriting structures, he uses saturated guitars, melodic synth work, and an explosive chorus co-produced by Wyatt Otis and Pharaoh Vice to create a dance-inducing tune that highlights his ability to glide over any beat with spirited, dynamic ease.
